Data Analyst

We’re seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, organized data analyst to join our quickly growing team! The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing large sets of data, extracting key insights to inform decision making and drive continued growth of the business. This role will report into marketing and will work closely with cross-functional teams including product to identify trends, develop recommendations, and improve our outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define KPIs that align with business objectives
  • Partner with engineering and product team to define data gaps and build necessary events for robust, actionable reporting
  • Collect, clean, and process data from various sources, stitching together where necessary, to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Perform deep analysis to uncover patterns, correlations, and trends, and share with key stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings and insights effectively and efficiently
  • Support the eventual implementation of a CDP (customer data platform), ultimately becoming the day to day owner 
  • Recommend and implement new methods and techniques to collect and enrich our dataset
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, product development, and various marketing campaigns
  • Perform regular analysis of our platform usage, leveraging for trend reports, PR opportunities, and other storytelling opportunities
  • Regularly monitor data quality and integrity, implementing solutions to address any issues or discrepancies including recommendations to enrich data
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics and SaaS

Qualifications / Skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in SaaS or a tech environment 
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis and manipulation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working with data visualization platforms including Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Data Studio
  • Strong communication, project, and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
  • Deep knowledge of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
  • Proactive in offering recommendations, going above and beyond, and thinking three steps ahead
